Did anyone else find the fact about Kristy's borrowed AMC Pacer intriguing? The car was driven an additional 268 miles after her disappearance, which only adds to the mystery. I can’t wrap my head around why someone would take such a detour unless it was intentionally to hide something. Two days later, it's found just two miles from town—so odd. Did the driver just want to mislead investigators, or was it something else entirely? The route the car took could be key in this case, and I wonder if the police looked into possible locations along those 268 miles. Anyone have thoughts on what might have happened during that time?
