I’ve always been intrigued by the idea that river conditions might change enough over time to reveal clues about cold cases. In Nancy Rose's case, it’s been over 40 years since that tragic day on the Pack River, and I can’t help but wonder if recent weather patterns might expose areas of the riverbed that were previously inaccessible. The water levels tend to vary with seasonal changes and snowmelt, right? Perhaps a fresh round of searches could yield something significant now. Has there ever been talk of organizing a renewed search effort with modern technology, like ground-penetrating radar or sonar that wasn’t available back then? Obviously, it would take a lot of coordination and resources, but it feels possible that nature might eventually help us piece together what happened to Nancy that day. Curious to hear if anyone else thinks this approach could be viable!
