On May 4, 1980, 31-year-old Nancy Rose was enjoying a day of canoeing on the Pack River in Sandpoint, Idaho, with her husband and another couple. The outing took a tragic turn when their canoe encountered a log jam and capsized. While her husband and the other individuals involved in the accident survived, Nancy disappeared in the turbulent water and has not been seen or heard from since.
