Hey everyone, I've been digging into Carla's case and something that struck me is the overturned soft drink bottle found in her apartment. It’s such a small detail, but it made me wonder if there was a struggle or if someone was in a rush when they took her. With the chairs pushed back too, it seems like something happened quickly. It’s frustrating how these little clues often go overlooked or aren't given the attention they deserve at the time. Also, since the family had seen those men just a week before she went missing, it makes me wonder if this was a planned abduction. I can't shake the feeling that if these clues had been pieced together sooner, maybe we’d have more answers today. Thoughts anyone?

Just came across this case and something really sticks out to me. Does anyone else find it odd that Carla's sandals were left behind that night? She was at home, right? So why would her belt be outside? It’s like she stepped out for a reason and then something happened. I can't stop thinking about how it connects to the overturned chairs and soda bottle inside. Was it a struggle, or did Carla leave voluntarily with someone she knew? Also, I'm really suspicious of those guys from that terrible incident in July. It's such a small timeline between the attack and her going missing. Even though no official reports were made back then, it seems like a big coincidence. Did law enforcement ever look into their whereabouts after Carla disappeared? I hope they re-investigate with more scrutiny as there's got to be something there—somewhere that could lead to a breakthrough in her case. Anyone else have thoughts on this part of the story?

I recently stumbled across Carla's case and can't stop thinking about the overturned chairs and open doors when her mom woke up. It's chilling to consider what might have gone down in those early morning hours. The fact that her sandals were left behind makes it seem like she might have left in a hurry. It’s so frustrating that the police didn't learn about the July assault until years later. Makes you wonder how differently things might have been handled back then if they knew. Anyone here familiar with the Eastwood area back in the '80s? Did others ever mention strange happenings around that time?
