Hey everyone, I was reading through some old articles about the Uden family case, and something struck me as odd about the discovery of their station wagon. It was found near Wind River Canyon, covered with pine branches, right? That location seems like it would've been remote enough not to need that extra effort to conceal the car. It makes me wonder if Gerald Uden was hiding it from someone who knew he'd be in that area? Or maybe it was an attempt to throw off search efforts in the initial weeks? I’m curious what others think about why he'd try to hide the car in an already secluded spot like that. Could there have been an accomplice or someone else involved who knew about the meeting? Let's discuss!

Has anyone else been following the eerie details about the concealment of the Uden family’s station wagon? I keep thinking about the fact that it was found covered with pine branches. It seems like such a deliberate and almost primal attempt to hide it. I wonder how long it might have been there before it was discovered. It’s chilling to think about why exactly Gerald Uden went to the trouble of camouflaging the vehicle; did he think it would buy him more time, or was it just a twisted way to cover his tracks? The image of the car hidden away like that always gives me the creeps. Would love to hear what some of you think about this often overlooked part of such a dark and unsettling case.

Has anyone else looked into the details around the Ford station wagon? I find it so perplexing that it was carefully covered with pine branches. It’s almost like Gerald Uden wanted to hide it just enough for it to be found eventually. Why not just abandon it somewhere more remote if his ultimate goal was to conceal it? The whole situation with the branches has me wondering if there's something more there. Was it done in a hurry, or was it some sort of twisted game to prolong the mystery? Maybe someone who lived in the area back then has insights into why it was left near Wind River Canyon specifically. It's just so chilling to think about how close they were to being found earlier, and yet so far.
