Hey everyone, I’ve been looking into the case of Donna Barnhill and something that really puzzles me is the six-day delay in reporting her missing. I understand times were different back in 1981, but does anyone have more insight into why her family waited so long? Was it just a different mindset back then or are there any specific circumstances that have been mentioned in past reports? Such delays seem like they would severely hinder any immediate search efforts. Also, with the tough family situation Donna was in, I wonder if there was more reluctance or fear of involving authorities at the time. Any thoughts or additional info on this aspect of the case?
