It's always baffled me how someone can just vanish without a trace, especially in a small community. The case of Keith LaLima really got me thinking about how crucial it is for clubs and venues to have proper security measures. It was back in '81, so I wonder if the situation could have been different with today's surveillance tech. Cameras might have captured something that night at the Village Green Café, maybe providing a clue about who he argued with or which direction he actually went. It just feels like every little detail could've been vital. I hope someone out there remembers something or has it on their conscience to come forward after all these years.
Did anyone else notice the detail about Keith LaLima's clothes? A red and blue plaid shirt, blue dungarees, and brown shoes were typical back then, but it's got me wondering if someone might have seen him without realizing it was him. That kind of outfit wouldn't stand out much at night, especially if he was walking down dimly lit streets.
And remember, this was right after a heated altercation, so maybe the person involved in the argument—or someone who saw it happen—knows more than they've ever shared. I can't help but feel like those specific details could jog someone's memory, even all these years later. It's a small hope, but maybe it's something that could help bring Keith's family some long overdue answers.
