Keith was described as a Caucasian male, standing between 6'0' and 6'1' and weighing about 175 pounds. He had blondish-brown hair and blue or hazel eyes. On the night he disappeared, he was wearing a red and blue plaid shirt, blue jeans, brown shoes, and a blue baseball cap. He may have also been wearing a silver necklace with a medallion. When Keith failed to return home, his mother promptly reported him missing, sparking an investigation by the Norwich Police Department. From the beginning, authorities suspected that he had met with foul play, a belief that has persisted throughout the years. The initial investigation was extensive, with police exploring numerous avenues in their search for answers.
