Hey folks, I’ve been following Sarah Avon’s case for some time now, and something I can’t stop thinking about is that “deathbed confession” by Ernest Wilson Sr. I mean, how credible do we think his nephew, Robert Tadej, actually was? It's such a wild twist to hear a posthumous accusation like that, especially considering that nothing has ever tied Wilson Sr. directly to Sarah’s disappearance, aside from that vague story. I know people sometimes confess things when they're at the end of their lives, but without concrete evidence or witnesses besides Tadej's account, it makes you question the authenticity a bit, right? On top of that, those excavations yielding nothing seem to cast even more doubt. Do any of you have thoughts on why there might’ve been no evidence found on the property? Could Tadej have misinterpreted or even exaggerated Wilson’s words? This part of the case just keeps me wondering what really happened that day in 1981.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the significance of the Richards Street location where Sarah Avon was last seen. It seems so crucial. Given how small the area is and the fact that she was just around familiar faces, how could she have vanished so quickly? Did someone plan this and was just waiting for the right moment, or was it a more opportunistic crime? It makes me wonder about the level of premeditation involved. I’d be curious to hear if anyone has thoughts on whether the layout of the neighborhood and that specific spot might’ve made it an ideal location for someone looking to take a child unnoticed. Also, has anyone looked into any potential blind spots along the street that might have allowed for someone to approach without being easily seen?

Does anyone else find it odd that with so many searches conducted, nothing concrete was ever found at Wilson's property? I remember reading that multiple excavations took place, yet no remains were discovered. It's frustrating because a deathbed confession, even if from a third party, feels like it should have led to more definitive answers. Granted, the memory of events from over a decade ago might not be perfectly clear for those involved, but one would think that there would at least be some physical evidence. Maybe the area was misidentified, or there are factors we are not privy to? It's like searching for a needle in a haystack, but without the magnet. The fact that there were eyewitnesses claiming to have seen Wilson digging should have raised more red flags back then. What do you guys think could be missing in this puzzle? Could it be possible that Sarah was moved to another location entirely, or perhaps there are other people involved who have never been identified?
