I was just reading about Ron Knutson's case, and something that popped out to me was the fact that his blue Dodge was found abandoned in Los Angeles. Does anyone know if they ever found any evidence inside the car that could provide clues to his disappearance? I mean, being part of the Mescaleros, it's possible it was just for show, but I wonder if any forensic analysis was done back then to see if it had been wiped clean or if anything inside pointed toward where he might have gone. It's so strange for the car to be found far from Morongo Valley, and then for him to just vanish. It really makes you think someone wanted it to look like he'd gone somewhere when he perhaps didn't. Would love to hear others' thoughts or any tidbits I've missed.
