Feeling really unsettled reading about Jose Lagares' case again. It’s so sad to think about how another family was shattered by such senseless violence. The part that's bothering me most is how common it seemed to be back then. I remember hearing about 2013 being particularly rough in Philly with gun violence, but seeing Jose’s face now in articles makes it hit home all over again. Has anyone else noticed how there were so many incidents in different neighborhoods, yet they all feel connected somehow? It’s like a grim pattern that just kept going, and it makes me wonder why tangible solutions are so slow to happen. Jose’s family deserves answers, and so many other families are stuck waiting too. I really hope the tips line keeps bringing in useful information. Every bit of community effort helps, and maybe, just maybe, we can change the story moving forward.
