Has anyone else come across any details about Walter Davis's background? It's always struck me as odd that he was never fully cleared, and I'm curious if there's more to his story. The fact that Shirley's denim bib overalls were supposedly connected to him has weighed heavily on my mind. Was he ever questioned about knowing Shirley personally or if he possibly crossed paths with her before she disappeared? I understand Davis passed away in 2003, but it seems like there might still be potential leads if more about his activities or associates back in 1984 could come to light. And what about his family? Did they ever comment on those allegations? I feel like there's so much more under the surface here.
