It's really tragic to hear about what happened to Robert Rhines back in 2013, and my heart goes out to his loved ones. I can't stop thinking about how violent crimes, especially those involving guns, seemed to have spiraled in Philly that year. It's frightening to realize how many lives were impacted beyond just the numbers. It makes me wonder what kind of measures have been put in place since then to tackle gun violence. Have community programs grown or evolved? Are neighborhoods like North Hancock Street seeing any positive changes? It’s crucial to think about how these deep-seated issues are being addressed if we want to prevent such senseless tragedies in the future. Would love to hear if anyone has updates or knows about current efforts in Philly aimed at reducing gun-related violence and supporting the community. RIP, Robert.
