Has anyone else been following the tragic case of Benard Franklin? It's devastating to think about how his life was cut short at just 25. I was reading about how the majority of the murders in Philly that year, like Benard's, happened outside. It makes you wonder about the level of fear his community must have felt, knowing this kind of violence could erupt in a public setting. I'm truly hoping that more witnesses will gather the courage to come forward, not just for Benard, but for all the victims whose cases remain unsolved. His family deserves justice and some sense of closure in this unimaginably difficult time.
