Has anyone else dived into the strange connections Charles Martin Vosseler Jr. had across the states? I've been doing some reading and it's baffling how quickly he seemed to have set up these strong ties in places like Oklahoma and Florida, even before fleeing. It makes me wonder if he planned this extensively in advance. Who were these contacts or "friends" he had that didn't think twice about helping someone on the run with two young kids? The effort he put into erasing his trail suggests he had resources and support. Maybe that's the key to understanding how he's managed to stay hidden for all these years. Anybody else find anything on this angle?
Does anybody else find it odd how Charles Martin Vosseler Jr. completely burned his house down in Stilwell, Oklahoma? I mean, that's not just trying to avoid the authorities—that's some serious effort to erase any trace of your existence. It makes me wonder if there was something specific he was trying to hide. You’d think he would just leave and go to ground, but setting fire to a house sounds like the actions of a desperate man, or someone trying to make sure no evidence is left behind. Did he have something tucked away there that could have blown the case wide open? Plus, burning down a house doesn’t seem like a quick getaway plan. You’d think someone would’ve noticed him doing it... Just curious if anyone has more ideas or theories about what he could have been hiding?
Has anyone been following the Vosseler case? I recently stumbled upon an old article and couldn't stop thinking about the different aliases Charles used, especially "Dr. Charles Wilson." It's crazy how someone can just create a completely new identity and vanish like that. I wonder if there are any other cases where the suspect went to such great lengths. The whole thing is chilling, especially knowing he even burned his house to cover his tracks. If anyone has updates or theories on where the boys might be, I'd love to hear them.
