I’ve been digging through old newspaper articles and community boards about Julia Salucka's disappearance, and one frustrating detail keeps coming up - the guy they found driving her car in March 1987. I can’t wrap my head around how he managed to get his hands on her Mercury Comet with switched plates, no less. His contradictory statements make me so suspicious. Why were there no charges or further actions taken against him? It feels like such a key piece of the puzzle to unravel what happened to Julia, yet it seems like his connection to the case just fizzled out. Anyone have thoughts or theories on why this angle wasn't pursued more aggressively?
