Has anyone else been thinking about the taco shop where Eric Gonzalez was killed? I feel deeply for his family who must pass by that spot, knowing what happened. It's such a small tight-knit area, and places like that taco shop can hold a lot of memories, both good and bad. I can't help but wonder if this was a place Eric frequented and felt safe in. It’s truly unsettling to think that a seemingly ordinary day could end in such tragedy over what might have been a personal disagreement or an unresolved issue with those men. The whole community must be feeling the weight of this unsolved case. It’s alarming yet another example of how quickly things can spiral out of control, especially in places struggling with high crime rates. My heart goes out to everyone in Winton who is feeling the impact of this loss and still waiting for answers.
