I've been following the case of Maurice Owens, and something that really stands out to me is the time and place of the incident. It’s a big city, but the 2500 block of North 31st Street isn't exactly bustling at 5:25 in the morning. This got me thinking about witnesses. Even if the street was quiet, there might have been someone going to work, walking a dog, or just getting home from a night shift who could've seen or heard something. It makes me wonder if there are people out there who have vital information but don’t realize it or are hesitant to come forward.
Maurice’s family deserves answers, and every bit of information could be critical. We all know how challenging it is for detectives when a case goes cold, and the lack of closure must be incredibly painful for his loved ones. Has anyone else been following the Maurice Owens case? It's really weighing on my mind lately. Maurice was shot back in 2014, and here we are, almost a decade later, still without answers. I can't imagine the pain his family and friends must be feeling, knowing that the person responsible is still out there. The fact that he was found between those two cars is haunting to me.
