Does anyone else find it odd how Brenda's phone call to her mom was the last confirmed contact? It's puzzling to me that she made it as far as being dropped off but then somehow vanished. If she was dropped off across from Hosmer's Grocery and was planning to wait for her friends, wouldn't there have been someone who saw her or noticed anything suspicious? Also, those jeans with the signatures are such a unique detail. You’d think it would stand out to someone, somewhere. I've been thinking about how things like this can just slip through the cracks if people aren’t keen on what to look for. Maybe there’s someone out there who remembers seeing her or recalls something unusual but never put two and two together because they didn't realize the significance at the time. It makes me wonder what the initial searches looked like around that area and if there were any door-to-door checks done for possible witnesses. Anyway, it's been so many years, but cases have been solved with even slimmer chances. Hoping someone comes forward with the missing piece of the puzzle.
