Brenda Kay Green, a 15-year-old girl from Brookwood, Alabama, was last seen on July 2, 1988. She left her home that day with a male friend, telling her mother she was going to visit friends in Abernant, a nearby community. Later that evening, she was dropped off at a house across from Hosmer's Grocery on Highway 216, but her friends were not home.
