Does anyone have any thoughts on the possible sighting of Randy at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains? It's baffling that someone with his survival skills could just disappear without a trace. I keep thinking about how experienced he was, not just from his Army service but also his recent training with the California Department of Forestry. It seems like he would have had the skills necessary to navigate through potentially difficult terrain. Could it be possible that he encountered someone on his hike? Or maybe there was an accident despite his training? Also, has anyone heard of any similar cases in the San Jacinto area? I can't shake the feeling that there might be more to this story.
