Randy Charles Spring, a 28-year-old Army veteran, went missing on October 10, 1988, from White Water, California. That morning, he was dropped off by a family member at the intersection of Tipton Road and White Water Road near Interstate 10. Randy mentioned he planned to go hiking and camping in the San Jacinto Mountains for a few days and would either hitchhike home or call for a ride.
