Does anyone else find it strange that Gaudencio Malagon's plans to travel to Mexico were never verified? He was reported missing after he said he'd be heading there, but it seems like no one saw him leave, and he never crossed the border. I keep wondering if there was something that happened before he even got the chance to make that trip. Sanford isn't that far from the border by plane, yet decades later, we have no record of a flight or border crossing. It makes me question if his plans to go to Mexico were genuine or if perhaps someone else was involved. Has anyone heard anything about his life right before he vanished? Did he have any connections or friendships that seemed unusual around that time? Any tiny detail might help piece this puzzle together.

I wonder if there were any issues with his travel arrangements that haven't been mentioned. Did he drive or planned to take a bus? Maybe something happened on the way, or he never actually left Florida. I think revisiting his known contacts in Sanford and checking for any out-of-character behavior could be crucial. It's a long shot after all these years, but maybe someone remembers something that didn't seem significant at the time. Also, that scar near his eyebrow seems like a unique feature that could be noticeable if anyone saw him.
