I've been following Kathryn Berry's case and it's just weighing heavily on my mind. It's so distressing to think that someone could be out there, having committed such a brutal act, and still walk free. I live not too far from Strawberry Mansion, and it's troubling to think this happened in our community. I didn't know Kathryn personally, but as a mother myself, I can't imagine the grief her children must be facing. I attended the candlelight vigil, and it was such a moving experience to see how many people came together to honor her memory. It really shows what a tight-knit community we have, and how deeply Kathryn touched those around her. She clearly made an impact, and it's simply not fair that her life was cut short. I truly hope that someone who knows something will come forward. Her family deserves answers, and her killer must be brought to justice. For those living in Philadelphia, let's remain vigilant and supportive of one another in these trying times. Sending strength and healing thoughts to Kathryn's family.
