It's puzzling that after all these years, Corn Cob Bob’s car hasn't turned up. You'd think a car would be a bit more challenging to hide than a wallet, right? Given how the crime was allegedly committed using his own vehicle, I wonder if investigators ever considered that the car might have been taken out of state immediately after his disappearance. Back in 1990, vehicle tracking wasn't what it is now, so it could have simply vanished without much trace. Does anyone here have more info on whether the make and model of the car would have made it easier or harder to track back then? I feel like this piece of the puzzle could yield some new insights.
Has anyone else been following the William Robert Mullins case from back in 1990? Something that stands out to me is the fact that his wallet was anonymously returned. The idea that someone might have felt guilty enough to return it, but not to come forward with more information, just baffles me. Do you think it could have been one of the guys reportedly seen with him? Or maybe someone who found it discarded and was too scared to say more? Also, does anyone know if they ever found his car? I haven't come across any info on that yet. Would love to hear other thoughts or insights because this detail really makes you wonder what else might have been out there that's never come to light.
Hey everyone, I'm diving into William Robert Mullins' case right now, and I'm curious about the circumstances surrounding his wallet being left anonymously. It's such a strange twist, right? Why would someone leave it like that? Did they want to help or just muddy the waters? It seems like whoever returned it wanted to stay out of the limelight. There must have been some risk involved in going out of their way to return it without leaving a trace. Were they trying to send a message, or was there a hint in the items found with it? If anyone has theories on why this might’ve happened or knows of other cases with similar strange returns, I'd love to hear about it. Sometimes these small details can reveal more than we think!
