Has anyone else dug into the background of John Kennard Ingersoll? It’s really puzzling how the investigation pieced everything together, considering Manley's body was never found. I read that there was some blood evidence in Ingersoll's truck, but I wonder how solid the case was without the body. Could there have been more to the story that didn't come out in court? I’m particularly curious if there were any other incidents involving Ingersoll that might hint at why he’d go to such extreme measures. It’s eerie to think about how a motive centered around suspicion could end so drastically. If anyone has more info on how the police were certain about the affair suspicion, I'd love to hear it.

Does anyone know more about the evidence found at Manley's apartment? I've read some about the case, but details seem a bit sparse on what exactly pointed to a homicide there. It's puzzling that the police felt confident enough to charge Ingersoll without a body being found. I wonder if more came out during his trial that hasn't been publicized. The whole situation seems so eerie, especially thinking about him just disappearing like that, with everything left behind. If anyone knows more, especially locals or people who've followed the case closely, I'd be really interested in hearing your thoughts or any additional details you might have!

I've been following the Manley case for a while, and there's always something that puzzles me. Does anyone else find it strange that his pickup truck was found with his luggage and tools still in it? If he was supposedly planning to skip town or meet someone, why wouldn't he take his essentials with him? The fact that his keys and wallet were locked inside the apartment makes me think that whatever happened, it must have been sudden and unexpected. It's like he was interrupted before he could even get started on his trip to El Centro. Anyone have any theories on why his personal items were left like that? It feels like there's more to uncover here.
