Saw a detail about Phillip B. Sellew's case that piqued my curiosity. Has anyone else noticed how close the bus stop is to the ranch where he was last seen? Sanford's not a huge place, and I keep thinking about how a person could hop onto a bus and blend into a crowd, especially in 1992 before all the digital surveillance we have now. With Sellew's cognitive challenges and left-behind meds, I wonder if he could’ve actually organized a plan to leave or if he was just aimlessly wandering. What strikes me most is the timing after his call with family at their reunion. Could he have mentioned something on that call that we might not know about, like wanting to connect with family up in RI? It's upsetting that the trail went cold so fast after the bus stop, despite what might’ve seemed like promising leads around town. Anyone else have thoughts on whether his Connecticut roots might have played a part in this?

Has anyone looked into the possibility of Phillip Sellew trying to make his way back to Connecticut or Rhode Island? I know he had just spoken to family members attending a reunion in Rhode Island the day before he vanished. It's interesting to me that his scent was last tracked to a bus stop, which might suggest he was trying to catch some mode of transport. Maybe he was attempting to reach his family. Has anyone explored public transport records from around that time to see if he bought a ticket? I feel terrible for his family not knowing what happened. Just hoping that after all this time, there might be some answers out there.
