I recently came across Tony Earhart's case and something has been bugging me. Has anyone ever looked into any old fishing spots between Moorefield and Stockville? I mean, I know it's been over 30 years, but it's odd how he had his fishing gear and dog with him that day. Maybe there's a secluded spot he liked that hasn't been thoroughly checked? The fact that both he and the car vanished makes me think he might've gone off-road somewhere remote. I understand the terrain might make searching difficult, but has anyone explored the idea of him getting into an accident in a less obvious location? Just throwing it out there in case it brings up any new discussions or leads.

Does anyone else find it strange that Tony also took fishing gear with him when he went to renew his driver's license? It was a short trip, just 14 miles away, yet he had his dog Butch and fishing equipment. I know a lot of people like to combine errands with outdoor activities, but it just seems odd considering he never made it to the DMV. Could he have stopped somewhere between Moorefield and Stockville to fish and something unexpected happened? Maybe a location along that route has a clue we've all missed. Thoughts?

Has anyone else looked into the geography around Moorefield and Stockville in Tony Earhart's case? It feels like there could be some clues hidden in the landscape itself. I mean, it's not completely unheard of for hunters or fishermen to veer off the beaten path to find a quiet spot. So maybe Tony took a detour to one of those secluded spots on his way to the DMV. Plus, Nebraska has a lot of rural areas, making it easy for something to go unnoticed. It’s strange how both Tony, his car, and his dog just vanished without a trace. There must have been some area along his route where he might have pulled over. Has anyone checked if there were popular fishing spots back then that he could've been drawn to? Any local folks with an idea of spots people liked to go fishing in the early '90s?
