I've been following Peggy Mock's case for a while and something that keeps bothering me is the letter that mentioned she might have been taken to Texas in the trunk of a car. The woman who wrote it was unfortunately murdered, which adds a strange twist to the narrative. Given the fact that Mock's car was found wiped clean of fingerprints and parked neatly, it makes you wonder if there's a connection here that's just waiting to be uncovered. Did the murderer of the letter writer know something about Mock's disappearance and wanted to silence her? I can’t shake the feeling that the timing was more than just coincidence. Anyone else have thoughts on how this letter might play into the case? Could it be just a red herring, or something more?
Has anyone else noticed how odd it is that Mock's car was found months later at the Forest River Apartments, conveniently wiped clean of fingerprints? It's strange that it was just sitting there for so long, yet no one seems to remember seeing it being parked. It's like it just appeared out of nowhere. I wonder if anyone in that area might have seen something suspicious or unusual back then, or if it was just coincidence that no one noticed. It’s been so long, but maybe someone remembers a detail that didn’t seem important at the time. Seems like every little bit could help in piecing this mystery together.
I've been following the case of Peggy Mock quite closely, and something that's always puzzled me is the location where they found her boots and purse – the burned-out Mountaintop Club in Rainbow City. It's so eerie, right? I can’t help but wonder if there's more to that place than just being an abandoned site. Why was her stuff there of all places? Someone must've known it would be out of view, especially since the pool was stagnant and barely anyone would go near it.
I wonder if anyone has looked into the history of this club, like any shady activities or connections to folks from Gadsden. It’s just so strange her belongings ended up there and not somewhere more central. It almost seems like it was intentionally put there for someone to find later. What do you all think? Could there be more clues hiding in plain sight about the club's past?
