Just heard about the case of Shakiem Williams and how a single dreadlock breakthrough after years brought things closer to justice. It’s just astonishing how one piece of overlooked evidence can change everything! I can't imagine the relief mixed with grief that Shakiem's family must be feeling now. It’s like getting a new hope back after endless years of wondering and waiting. Thinking about that night back in 2015, with the chaos and fear in the neighborhood, it’s really a reminder of how much these acts of violence impact entire communities, not just the immediate families. It makes me wonder how many more cases have these tiny yet critical evidence pieces just waiting to be found. Wishing strength to his family as they navigate these new developments. Has anyone else heard if there have been any updates since this breakthrough?
