Has anyone looked into whether Benjamin's involvement with the Rainbow Family might have led him to just drop out and live off the grid somewhere? I mean, these types of groups often move around a lot and tend to stay away from mainstream society. It's weird that no one reported him missing for nine years, but maybe his lifestyle supported that kind of disappearance? Also, did the Rainbow Family have any gatherings or major events around the time he vanished? I feel like finding someone who was in the group with him could maybe shed some light on his state of mind or where he might have gone. What do you all think? Could he just be out there somewhere, living a life totally under the radar?
Has anyone here ever heard of how groups like the Rainbow Family handle past members who just seem to vanish? I’ve been following the Benjamin Richard Cannon case, and his connection to this nomadic group has always piqued my interest. From what I understand, the Rainbow Family doesn’t have much structure or strict records, so could someone just disappear from their community without much notice? Since he wasn't reported missing for nearly nine years, I wonder if there might be someone out there within this group who knew him or saw him after March 1995 but didn't realize he was missing to everyone else. If anyone has experience with this kind of community or similar situations, I'd love to hear your thoughts!
Has anyone else dug into the aspect of Benjamin Cannon being connected to the Rainbow Family? I'm curious about the potential influence they might have had on him. I read somewhere that they are kind of nomadic and cult-like, but does anyone have more specifics about their practices and how they might affect someone's mindset? Especially around the time Benjamin disappeared? I find it odd that his involvement with them didn't raise more red flags sooner, particularly with the delay in reporting him missing. Could his association with them have played a part in the initial reluctance to file a missing person's report? Any insights or similar cases involving this group would be appreciated!
