It’s so puzzling to me that even after all these years, the bodies of Hoyle Smith and Margie Shaw Boone haven't been found. I understand that Abercrombie confessed and was convicted, but why hasn’t he given up the exact location of their burial sites? Did he forget, or is he just refusing to cooperate further? I always wonder if there might have been more to it, and others could have been involved who haven’t been caught yet. There must be someone out there who knows something. It seems hard to believe the trail could just go completely cold like this. Does anyone have theories on why he wouldn't give up the exact burial locations or ideas on where else they might be?

Hi everyone, I've been reading up on the Hoyle Smith and Margie Shaw Boone case, and I’m stuck thinking about the significance of Donald Abercrombie's confession. It’s so rare to have a confession without the recovery of the bodies. Does anyone else find it odd that, even after his conviction, Abercrombie never led the authorities to their remains? It makes me wonder if there's more to his story or if he was deliberately misleading law enforcement as one last act of control. Sometimes it feels like there might be missing pieces we just aren't looking at. What do you all think? Could he have been hiding something even bigger, or is it just another tragedy where answers died with the truth? Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
