Hey everyone,
I've been following the tragic case of Gerald Harris, and I can't stop thinking about the ripple effect this has on his family and friends. It's incredibly frustrating to see a young life cut short, and yet, after so much time, justice still hasn't been served. It’s haunting that an entire community is left with unanswered questions.
I wanted to focus on the fact that in 2016 alone, there were 105 homicides reported in Allegheny County, which makes me wonder about the resources available to investigators. Are they stretched too thin to give cases like Gerald’s the attention they deserve? Gerry, as his friends called him, was someone’s brother, son, and friend. He deserves more than being a number in a statistic.
If anyone out there has any information or insights into how the investigative process works, or about similar cases that have eventually been solved, it would mean so much for us to share and discuss. We can’t let Gerald’s story slip into oblivion. Let's keep talking and hoping that someday his family will get the answers they need.

I've been following Gerald Harris's case since it first made the news, and it really hits me how young he was. Only 19 and his life was cut short. It’s truly devastating for his family and friends. I keep thinking about the North Side area where it happened. It’s a part of Pittsburgh that I've passed through a few times, and it's just hard to imagine such violence taking place there. With the number of homicides in Allegheny County that year, it must have been overwhelming for law enforcement, but it baffles me that there haven’t been any arrests yet. I really hope that someone out there can help bring some closure by coming forward with information. Gerald deserves justice, and his loved ones deserve answers. If anyone knows anything, even if it seems small, please contact the authorities.
