Hey everyone, I’ve been going down the rabbit hole with Karen’s case and something struck me about her car being found on I-20. It's a bit odd that it was left abandoned near Heflin – anyone who knows that stretch knows it's not exactly isolated, but not bustling either. I find it hard to believe she would leave it there herself with no sign of trouble. Has anyone looked into sightings of the car between November 25 and December 18? It seems like there might be a possibility someone was driving it around for a while before ditching it. Also, the car’s location seems a little too close to both home and major routes, like it was placed in a hurry. Not trying to overthink, but just wondering if anyone else feels there might be more to uncover with the vehicle’s timeline. Any thoughts or overlooked reports of odd sightings on that highway back then?
Hey everyone, I've been digging into Karen's case again, and something that's been bothering me is the location where her car was found. It's intriguing that her Ford Fairmont was abandoned on I-20 near Heflin, about two hours away from her home in Piedmont. Does anyone know if Karen had any connections or history in that area? Was she familiar with it, or was it just a random spot? I know interstate rest areas and exit ramps have been notorious in other cases for being unintended final locations, so this makes me curious. Feel free to share any insights or theories you all might have about this angle.
Does anyone else find it strange that Karen's car was found so far away from both her home and any place she was known to visit? The fact that it was abandoned on Interstate 20, near Heflin, seems oddly conspicuous. It's like Jimmy wanted it discovered without leaving any bread crumbs back to him. Completely crazy to think that the same man involved in Karen's case could also be linked to the disappearances of Burrows and McFry, back in 1990. I can't help but wonder if the location has some significance, either to Jimmy or the potential circumstances of Karen's disappearance. Was it chosen randomly, or could it have been a spot frequented by him back then? I really hope they revisit this angle, as there's so much about the location that just doesn't make sense to me.
