Does anyone else find it odd that Robert Earl Sheriff's car was found partially submerged in Hanging Moss Creek, but they never found any signs of him nearby? I mean, from what I gather, it was the night before Christmas Eve, and the creek was swollen, so I guess it’s possible he could have been swept away. But still, it's unsettling that nothing turned up after the searches. Also, I've been thinking about how sleep-deprived he was leading up to his disappearance. Could that have played a role in how his car ended up in the creek in the first place? Maybe he was disoriented. I just feel like there's more to this, especially with the talk of foul play. Wonder if anyone close to him noticed anything unusual in those days before he vanished?
