Does anyone else find it strange that Dorothy's food stamp card was used on September 9, 1998? That was a full two weeks after she was last seen. It makes me wonder who might have had access to her card during that time. Was it someone she knew? Or could it possibly have been taken by a stranger on the streets? If she was in poor health and struggling with addiction, I'm curious how likely it would be for her to go that long without someone seeing or interacting with her. It just feels like there's a missing piece of the puzzle with that card usage. Has anyone else looked into this angle or have any theories?
Has anyone looked into the use of Dorothy's food stamp card on September 9th, 1998? It’s been gnawing at me because if Dorothy herself wasn’t the one using it, then who was? Could this be a lead to where she went or who she might have been with around that time? It’s such an eerie date because it was the last trace of her. Someone out there must have remembered seeing her or possibly someone else using the card. It feels like a small breadcrumb in a case that seems to have so few of them. If someone knows more about where those transactions happened or has access to any reports that mentioned that final transaction detail, it’s something worthwhile to explore. What’s most baffling is how Dorothy’s trail just completely vanishes after that point. Hope we can get new eyes on this angle.
