I've been following Michael Lee Watkins' case with interest and keep coming back to those two traffic stops in California. It's pretty baffling that he managed to slip through the cracks despite being pulled over twice within a week. Why didn't these stops raise any red flags, especially given that he had aliases like Michael Hamilton and Michael Walkins? I wonder if there were any discrepancies in his documents or if the officers noticed anything unusual but didn’t report it. Also, considering he ended up in Tijuana not too long afterward, I'm curious if there could have been signs indicating he might be heading off the grid or something. Did anyone else find the gap between these stops and his arrest in Tijuana suspicious? Could there have been missed opportunities here? Would love to hear your thoughts or any insights you might have.
