I’ve been following Innocente Richmond Yanez's disappearance for some time, and something that really stands out to me is the detail about the ride he was supposed to get from a friend. It's puzzling that no more information has surfaced around this. Did anyone ever come forward claiming to be that friend, or has anyone been able to identify who it might have been? With Innocente leaving his coat and cigarettes behind, it doesn't seem like he was planning to be gone for long. Could it be possible that the friend was someone trusted or maybe someone he talked about often? I'm curious if there were any phone records or messages checked—if that was even possible back then—to figure out who he might have been in contact with around that time. Anyone else find this aspect of the case intriguing or have insights on how it might be pursued today?

Has anyone else looked into the connection between Innocente's disappearance and the supposed friend who was giving him a ride that day? It's so puzzling to me that no one seems to know more about this friend. If this person was planning to pick up Innocente, wouldn't they have some answers or at least have been questioned by now? It's almost like this mystery friend just vanished into thin air too. I wonder if anyone from the community has more insight into who this could have been or if there were other people he might have confided in around that time. It just feels like there might be threads here that haven't been fully tugged on, and this could be a key piece. Anyone with local ties or knowledge that might shed light on this?
