I've been following the case of Alhassan Dore, and it just breaks my heart to see another young life lost to senseless violence. What strikes me most is the time of day this took place. It was around 6 p.m. in the summer, and I can't stop thinking about the fact that this could have been witnessed by so many people in the area. It's such a lively time; people would still be out and about, maybe having dinner or just returning home from work. It makes me wonder if there are witnesses who might not even realize what crucial information they could hold. If you were in that area on July 24, 2016, even if you think you didn't see anything significant, a tiny detail could be a huge piece of this puzzle. It's just so important for the community to rally behind this and speak up. Alhassan deserves justice, and his family deserves some semblance of peace. I really hope someone who knows something comes forward so we can prevent this from happening to another family.
