I recently came across Teresa Melissa Dean's case, and something that caught my attention was the detail about the clear gel sandals she was wearing. It's such a specific detail, and I've been thinking about how that might have played into the investigation. I wonder if there was ever any focus on checking local creeks or wooded areas where those sandals might have been found. Considering how much kids move around, especially being on their feet all day during summer, those sandals might have been left behind, providing a clue. It seems like a long shot, but in cases like these, even the tiniest detail can sometimes crack things open. Anyone else think the sandals could be a little detail that's been overlooked?

I was doing some digging into Teresa Dean's case, and I can't stop thinking about her clothing when she went missing. I know it might seem small, but it’s so distinct: a blue and white striped shirt, those orange or pink knit pants, and clear gel sandals. It's hard to imagine not a single person saw her, especially since it sounds like she stood out with her outfit. Has anyone looked into whether similar outfits might have surfaced or been found elsewhere around that time? Seems like that could lead to a new angle or maybe refresh any old leads. Just my thoughts on trying to piece this thing together.
