Has anyone else thought about the significance of how Asha's bookbag was discovered so far from home and in a buried state? This has always puzzled me because it suggests someone went through a lot of trouble to hide it, yet the location itself is peculiar. Why choose Burke County, 26 miles from Shelby, especially considering the area's terrain? Seems like whoever buried it was familiar with that part of the county. It raises questions about whether the person who put the bag there had local ties or knew about the spot beforehand. I read somewhere that items in the bag were mostly Asha's, but does anyone know if authorities ever indicated any items being out of place or not belonging to her? Considering how long the case has been cold, I'm wondering if revisiting things like the exact contents or the burial site location could yield any clues or new leads, especially with advances in forensic technology. Thoughts?

Anyone else find it curious about the timing of Asha's disappearance? Leaving her home early in the morning, during terrible weather, and on Valentine's Day of all days—it's really odd. What could have motivated a 9-year-old to venture out like that? The fact she packed her bookbag suggests some level of planning, but it’s baffling given her age. Also, what about the items in her bookbag found a whole year later in Burke County? Were those things packed by Asha herself, or was someone else involved? It's like pieces of two different puzzles mixed together. Anyone have thoughts on what might have been going through her mind or what might have been happening in her life at the time? This case really tugs at my curiosity and leaves us with so many questions.

I’ve been following Asha Degree’s case and came across something that got me really puzzled. Has anyone else looked into how Asha's bookbag ended up in Burke County? It's quite a distance from where she was last seen, and the area is pretty remote. What's especially strange to me is that it was found buried — not just discarded. This suggests that someone went through a lot of trouble to hide it, which doesn’t seem like something a 9-year-old would do on her own, right? I wonder if there's something significant about Burke County or if it was just random. Also, does anyone know if there were any significant findings in the area around the time the bookbag was discovered? Seems odd that something so crucial would be found, yet we have so little information about how it got there.
