Has anyone else looked into Robert Butcher's background? I mean, he was jailed on unrelated charges, but it makes you wonder about the kind of company Janis was keeping. Not to mention, how odd is it that the cleaning products were "conveniently" found in her truck? It's almost like someone was planning to tidy up something that morning. Could those bloodstains in the house be linked to an older incident? Or were they just the beginning of a cover-up? I still can't wrap my head around how none of these clues led to a breakthrough in finding her. Anyone have thoughts on this or know more about her history with Butcher?

I find it particularly strange that Janis's truck was still at home with cleaning products inside when she went missing. What could have possibly been the intention there? It almost seems like someone might have wanted to clean up evidence but left everything behind in a hurry. Also, considering that there were bloodstains found on several items, it's suspicious that her boyfriend was only jailed for unrelated parole violations, and not connected directly to the disappearance. Has anyone heard if the authorities are still actively working this case, or has it gone cold? The Canyon Rim area must have been thoroughly searched, but I wonder if there's any chance they didn't cover everything. Just hoping some new lead might come up that finally brings answers.
