Does anyone else find it odd how there seems to be a pretty big discrepancy between the co-worker's and his wife's accounts? Like, the guy claims he went home, and his wife backs him up completely. Sure, maybe he was home, but I just can't get over the fact that they both seem to have their stories perfectly aligned. Makes me wonder about the wife's role in all of this. Did she really see him the whole night? Or could he have snuck out somehow? Cases like this where alibis come from family members are always tricky, especially when there appears to be some sort of motive involved. If they were indeed secretly dating, that throws a whole wrench in the dynamics, right? Just feels like there's more beneath the surface here. Thoughts?
Has anyone delved into how the alibi of the co-worker’s wife might have been verified or challenged? I mean, did they check things like phone records, credit card transactions, or any other info that could confirm his whereabouts? It's pretty intriguing (and concerning) that his wife would vouch for him so strongly, despite the circumstances. I wonder if she knew about Patti at all or if she had any inkling about their alleged relationship. Sometimes, people overlook the impact of financial entanglements in cases like this. Patti lending him large sums could have added a complex layer to their dynamics. Just my thoughts, but maybe unraveling the financial side might provide some leads. Anyone else have insights into similar cases where financial angles played a part?
