I recently came across John Davis's case from Wendell, Idaho, and something caught my eye that I haven't seen discussed much. He had several distinctive tattoos, like snakes on both legs and a bird on his right arm. These could be significant identifiers, especially considering how memory can be affected in instances of Alzheimer's. I'm curious if widespread sharing of his tattoo designs might have helped in getting tips or sightings. Sometimes people might not remember faces, but tattoos can be pretty memorable. I wonder if police or family ever tapped into tattoo communities or forums to spread awareness about those unique features? It's heartbreaking that his story has remained unsolved for so long, but maybe revisiting this angle could spark new interest or leads. Anyone here come across similar cases where focusing on tattoos made a difference?
