I was reading through some old articles and came across the Henry Wood case in Brewerytown. It's incredibly tough to see how an area can be so deeply affected by gun violence, not to mention the enduring pain for families like Henry's who still don't have answers. I noticed that throughout 2016, especially that November in Philadelphia, the number of unresolved cases was quite high. It seems like community outreach and initiatives are crucial for getting information on unsolved cases. Does anyone know if there have been any recent pushes from local grassroots organizations to aid in these investigations? Keeping these stories in the public eye seems really important, both for the sake of families waiting for justice and for preventing future violence. If we can help in even a small way, it feels like our responsibility as community members.

I came across Henry Wood’s case while reading through some articles recently, and it’s so disheartening to see how many of these cases remain unsolved. It got me thinking about the role that community initiatives, like the Philadelphia Obituary Project, play in keeping these stories alive. It’s such important work, ensuring that victims like Henry aren’t just numbers in crime statistics, but remembered as individuals with lives and loved ones. For Henry’s family and friends, I can only imagine how hard it must be to have no answers. If there’s anyone out there with information, even the smallest lead, it could really make a difference. Let’s hope the community can come together to help find justice for him and others lost to violence.

Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Henry Wood, who was tragically shot in Brewerytown, and something that's been on my mind is how little attention his story seems to get amidst all the other news. It's so sad to see this kind of violence treated almost like it's just a statistic. But I was thinking, does anyone remember if there were neighborhood meetings or vigils held in response to his death? Sometimes, these can be powerful ways for communities to come together and support each other, especially for his family who must be feeling the weight of this loss. If anyone has any memories or information about community responses, it might help keep the spotlight on his case and remind everyone that these victims are more than just a name in the news. I can't imagine what his family is going through, and I hope they find some peace and justice soon.
