Did anyone else notice the geographical layout of where Niles was attacked? I mean, the fact that the assailants emerged from a wooded area makes me wonder if this was premeditated and someone was familiar with that environment. It seems like they knew exactly how to approach without getting noticed until it was too late. I feel terrible for Niles’ family and loved ones, knowing this heinous act happened in a place that seems like it should have been safe. And for the other victims, especially the kids… I can’t even imagine how terrifying that must have been. I'm curious if there are any local safety improvements planned or if anyone else from the area has insight into whether this spot has been problematic before. Sending thoughts to everyone impacted by this tragic event.

Does anyone else feel for the bystanders who were caught in the chaos during Niles Young's tragic shooting? It's terrifying to think about how quickly a situation can turn dangerous. A 29-year-old woman, an 11-year-old girl, and an 8-year-old boy were all injured, and while thankfully they survived, I can only imagine the trauma they’re dealing with after being caught in what must have felt like a war zone. I hope they’re getting all the support they need and deserve. It’s gut-wrenching that people who were just going about their day got caught up in something so violent. I wonder if there have been any updates on their recovery. My thoughts are with them and, of course, Niles's loved ones as they navigate through this nightmare.
