Has anyone else been following the case of Gregory Daye in Philly? I was thinking about how the lack of suspects must be incredibly frustrating for his family. It's awful to imagine losing someone and not even having an idea who did it. I live not too far from North 41st Street, and I can't help but worry about safety in our neighborhood after hearing about cases like this. It's a tough reminder of how close to home these tragedies can hit. If anyone has any info, I really hope they share it with the police so Gregory’s family can find some peace.
I’ve been thinking about Gregory Daye’s case lately, and I can't help but feel for his family and friends. It must be so hard not knowing who did this or why. I grew up not far from the area where the incident happened, and it was always a place where people looked out for one another. Gregory living just around the corner only adds to the tragedy; it's just unimaginable for something like this to happen in your own neighborhood.
Does anyone know if there's been any progress in the investigation or if the police have updated their appeal for witnesses? I keep hoping someone will come forward with information that could help. If there’s a way to pressure the authorities for more transparency or coordination, I'd love to hear it. It’s just so important for Gregory’s family to find some peace and for our community to feel safe again.
Hey everyone,
I've been following the discussions about Gregory Daye's tragic murder, and there's a detail that's been nagging at me. Has anyone heard anything about surveillance footage from nearby businesses or homes on North 41st Street? Given that the incident happened around 7:34 p.m., it seems like there might be some cameras that captured part of what happened that night.
I know the community is grappling with this loss, as Gregory was a local and his passing left a void. It just feels so frustrating knowing that during a year with so many incidents, this case remains unsolved. If by chance anyone in that neighborhood can check their cameras or knows someone who might help, it could be a step towards finding out what really happened.
Hoping for answers and closure for Gregory's family and friends. Stay safe, everyone.
