I recently came across the case of Kwadir Hines-Baldwin, and it's been on my mind a lot. It’s truly devastating what his family is going through, especially his mother and grandmother. I can't even begin to imagine the pain of losing someone so dear and full of life. Seeing how gun violence has taken such a toll on families like his is really unsettling. One thing that stood out to me was the location of the incident. It's hard to believe someone could be attacked so brutally in a place that's usually bustling and familiar. It makes me wonder if there are witnesses who might have seen something that evening but haven’t come forward. People might not even realize they hold key information. To anyone local who was around West Butler Street that night, please, if you remember anything, reach out to the authorities. We owe it to Kwadir’s loved ones to seek justice for him.
