I've been following the case of Takoda Tei Weed and his sister Tiana for some time now, and something that struck me is the challenges Brett Weed must be facing with international custody disputes. It seems like such a complex situation when a case involves different countries and legal systems. It must feel incredibly frustrating and disheartening to have legal victories in the U.S. but still be unable to bring his children home. I've read that Japan handles custody differently, and this factor might be complicating things even more for Brett. Does anyone here have more insight into international custody laws or similar cases where they've seen resolutions? It just seems like there needs to be more awareness and perhaps stronger international agreements to help resolve these situations.
