She went missing from my mama's house My sister's the last one that seen her they never gave details or or anything more than response to the direct question asked like it was irritating them. The attitude given off by my sis was noticable to me but i couldn't pin point what was off about it because it was the same she uses always on me it is a clever manipulation tactics where she pretends like ohhhh who cares its not important stop bothering me with that stupid stuff inhave more important things to worry about right now get out of my hair!! Over the years i have noticed a pattern with that exact attitude from teri & going back over events & specific times the importance if the matter at hand its always that exact attitude.andrea is worth the time the effort to answer a question and to bother her to takke her time!!! Why nobody fixed the fact that brown car was jhms he n terinhad been giine to get clothes for teri because teri was sooo mad at Andrea for using her panties and instead of buying her a pack of her own ahe decided to confront andrea the day before about it and scream at her and scream and cuss over a ppair of pantiez, andrea has taken her shirt OFF HER BACK and given it to teri more than once yet teri was so mad over panties andrea needed she got herself so worked up over panties who knows what andrea endured for panties & bringing her friends home with her to hang out the same way teri had done the very last time Andrea was seen. There was no white truck my sister forgot to tell the police that the neighbors parked their car in moms driveway EVERYDAY thats the white vehicle that was seen there. What luck for the real suspectS though,that a witness trying to help unknowingly threw detectives off the trail of the suspectS im sure on accident, but now if my sister jon & mom ALL KNEW THAT VEHICLE WAS THE NEIGHBORS why then didnt they speak up to the detectives & say hey no that wasnt what the two men were driving that was my neighbor they always park there? Either the two men that were inside with Andrea walked over maybe from next door r nearby or maybe they werent even there at all. Teri told me not 5months ago when i askked her like evry other time before made me feel lime i was really really annoying her to ask abyt it and never offered a singke word more than answering specific questions. She said h yeah thats right and come tonthink of it there were no other cars not in the road or driveway when we pulled up. Oh yeah thats right???!!!! Really. Everytime i pulled to myoms trailer id ask them whos that parked in the driveway and everytime mom would say thats just the neighbors hell dont worry about em nobody here its the neighbors and be annoyed because i had already ask that last time i came over so no reason for the oh yeah surprise response sis gave me about the neighbors car 20 years after all this i mean i didn't live there i wasbtvthere but all thrse years for some very suspicious reason i have managed to remember more details and ask mire questions than the ones that wrre there andrea shouldn't be treated like oh its not important enough or oh god forget it already oh man hurry up i have more important things to do type attitude that is very subtle manipulation at its very best and it looks like it may have worked on experienced police officers i mean she has convinced me more than once using that same tactic on other much smaller events, irrelevant to Andreas disappearance. Please help Andrea get peace and justice she is worth it!!

The gold/brown car is the car that my sister and jon were in the police did a lie detector on jon and he told me he failed it out of his own mouth he said for knowing what happened where she was and everything but he is ike autistic or something so really could have been a bad read for him

I’m sorry you’re going through this. If there’s a chance the “white truck” was actually a neighbor’s regular vehicle, or you know whose “brown car” it was, please report that directly to Corsicana PD / Texas DPS so it’s documented and investigated. The most helpful posts here are specific facts (times, vehicle descriptions, who was present) rather than conclusions. Andrea deserves answers.

What i wrote are FACTS ABOUT THE CASE CCTHE WHITE VEHICLE WAS THE NEIGHBORS, THE GOLD NOT BROWN CC THE GOLD CAR WAS JONATHAN WILCOX AND THE PASSENGER WAS TERI HEADEN!!!!!!!!!!!! THE GOLD ARRIVED WHEN ANDREA AND HER TWO UNKNOWN HISPANIC FRIENDS WERE ALREADY INSIDE, THEY LEFT SHORTLY AFTER MY SISTER GOT HOME SHE (EYE WITNESS) SAID SHE NEVER SEEN ANOTHER VEHICLE AND DIDNT HEAR A MOTOR WHEN THEY LEFT, THEN SHE SAID JON LEFT RIGHT BEHIND THEM. THEN FROM THAT NIGHT FORWARD JON NEVER DROVE THAT CAR INTO THE LARK AGAIN HE WOULD SIT ON 13TH AND WAIT FOR MY SISTER TO WALK ALL THE WAY OUT OF THE PARK WHEN HE PICKED HER UP, THAT BEING BECAUSE HE HAD GOTTEN MAD AT TERI N ANDREA FEE DAYS PRIOR AND PURPOSELY DROVE HIS VEHICLE INTO THE END OF A TRAILER ACROSS FROM MY MOMS ON HIS WAY OUT, AND PASSED MY HOME N PLOWED MYAILBOX DOWN AS WELL. BUT THE CAR WOUND UP DISAPPEARING BEFORE POLICE HAD A CHANCE TO CHECK IT

I came across Andrea Cotten's case recently, and something that's been puzzling me is the role of the unidentified men she was last seen with. There’s not much detail available about them, and I'm wondering if more information has ever come out. Could they have been associates or just strangers she met that day? It’s hard to imagine that no one else has come forward with details about them, especially since Andrea's departure seems so crucial to understanding what happened later. I also keep thinking about that brown vehicle she was seen in later. Was it connected to these men or someone else entirely? Anyone with local knowledge or who was following the case back when it initially happened—did anything more about the truck or the brown car come up that I might have missed? It's frustrating how there seem to be so many small pieces but nothing concrete. If anyone has more insights or remembers anything else from local news back then, it’d be great to hear.

I have asked my sister about them .yself she described one guy as having his front teeth lines with silver around the tooth, and didnt speak english the other one did and she said one was quiet and kind of intimidating. But if u look at January 2005 in corsicana there is a man that was reported missing one year from andreas, i wish the police would look better into that report what if they mistakenly said the wrong year or misinterpreted with translation or waited before reporting him. I have tried to reach out to my ex husband because he would recognize if yhe missing man is the same one that came a few months before andrea went missing her and my sister had apparently taken a guys 30pack of beer and ran at the stop sign by my home because the guy came so mad and told my husband they ran into my backyard with it. My husband said they were not there and the man left i do remember he was short and stalky like the missing man from 01/05

The idea about the January 2005 missing man is also worth flagging to investigators, especially since reporting dates can be wrong or delayed. If you’re comfortable, it may help to send a tip directly to Corsicana PD or NCMEC with your sister’s description and the connection you noticed, plus the beer incident and the man’s build. Even if it doesn’t end up related, those are identifiable details that can be checked against other reports.

I've been digging into Andrea Cotten's disappearance and something that's been on my mind is the timing right before her scheduled visit with her child. It just seems so unlikely that she would willingly miss such an important meeting. From what I've gathered, the fact that she was so close to having this visit suggests she was trying to make things better for herself and her child. The day before this big moment in her life adds a layer that can't be ignored. What do you all think about the idea that someone could've orchestrated her disappearance specifically to prevent her from reuniting with her child? It's chilling to think about, but maybe there's a clue in the timing that we're missing. If anyone else has thoughts or theories on this aspect, I'd love to hear them!

I have hoped that maybe cps sit down and made an offer for her to go away far and start new with their help so she could start an new life for her daughter i have wondered if that is possible, but if so and law inforcment would have to be notified, would they HAVE to tell us she is not missing or would they be able to just let us believe she is missing to keep her protected, from anything?

No she wasn't trying to get her life better, i think she had accepted the fact that vanessa was lost for good, i believe it was her cousin, teri the last one to see her.

Hey everyone, I was just reading up on Andrea Cotten's case and something struck me about that mysterious brown vehicle she left in the second time. I've deep-dived into older forums and a few vague mentions pop up about it possibly being linked to a person known in the area for sketchy activities around that time. My question is, has anyone come across any other information or theories about the ownership of that car or who might've been driving it? It's just odd that there's so little detail about it and it seems like a crucial piece in understanding her last movements. Absolutely correct my mom, my sister teri and John have always only answered what was asked them nothing more!!!

That is the thing about lie detector tests. They are not accurate. You can fail these things or pass these things if you are neuro divergent. That is why everytime someone puts up the 'lie detector' pass/fail. I don't give that any credit. There isn't enough real information about these tests out there. Maybe they can be leverage if they know who did it but need a confession for a slam dunk. but then does this open up a false confession? Then it will ruin lives and the real criminal goes free. Just throwing that out there.
